How does LLMsRelay pricing work?

LLMsRelay uses a prepaid platform usage balance. Requests deduct usage according to the published model rate card, including input, output, cache, and thinking tokens where applicable. Current packs and balances are shown on the Plans page.

LLMsRelay is a paid developer gateway. It offers one-time platform usage packs with no recurring charge.

Which models are available?

The available model IDs depend on your key group and gateway availability. Use GET /v1/models with your key before deploying a production client.

Which Claude model is best for coding?

Claude Sonnet 4.6 is the default choice for daily coding and agent workflows. Use Opus 4.7 or Opus 4.8 for complex refactors, architecture, long sessions, and high-stakes reasoning; use Haiku 4.5 for fast low-cost tasks.

What base URL should I use?

Use https://api.llmsrelay.com as your base URL. For the Anthropic-compatible API, the messages endpoint is POST /v1/messages. For OpenAI-compatible, it's POST /v1/chat/completions.

What's the difference between Anthropic and OpenAI-compatible modes?

Anthropic-compatible mode uses the x-api-key and anthropic-version headers with the Messages API format. OpenAI-compatible mode uses Authorization: Bearer with Chat Completions. The model IDs available to a key are returned by GET /v1/models.

How do I get a LLMsRelay API key?

Sign up, add a one-time usage pack, and generate an API key from the dashboard. Available model IDs can be checked through GET /v1/models.

What are the rate limits?

LLMsRelay uses protective per-key and global gateway limits rather than a fixed public RPM table. If you hit 429, respect Retry-After, reduce concurrency, and contact support for sustained higher throughput.
